Hello, music lover and welcome to the website for the Moreno Valley Master Chorale. The chorale is the "Official Choral Ambassador" for the City of Moreno Valley. We were founded in 1986 to provide a creative outlet for local singers.
The Chorale presents three major concerts annually. We actively participate in many city sponsored events, including singing the National Anthem at the first City Council meeting of the year for the past five years. We are proud to be a member of the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce. In addition to performing in the City of Moreno Valley, we are active in the Inland Empire musical scene. We have performed with the San Bernardino Symphony, at the Redlands Bowl, with the Loma Linda Symphony Orchestra, and in Palm Springs.
What's New at MVMC
- The Moreno Valley Master Chorale performed a very well-received Christmas concert to a packed house at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church on Sunday, December 13th. Camelia Voin, Sandra Young, and Esi Syiem, soloists for Vivaldi's "Gloria", gave shimmering performances. A special treat was Gerald Cheng's boy soprano in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu". Special guests, North Ridge Elementary School's "Prime Time Singers" closed the concert with spirited renditions of classic childrens' Christmas songs.
- On Tuesday, January 5, 2010, the chorale will sing the "National Anthem" at the opening of the mayoral installation ceremony for Bonnie Flickinger. This event begins at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber and will be televised on MVTV Channel 3.
